Kirsten began dancing at 3 years old in the twin cities. She started competing at a young age and danced till she graduated high school. Training at Woodbury Dance Center in Woodbury, Minnesota in jazz, tap, lyrical, open, and ballet. In 8th grade she began working with other competition dancers and found a love for teaching the art of dance. Kirsten also took part in her high school dance team and became co-captain her senior year. After high school Kirsten went to the University of North Dakota and graduated with a bachelor of science in nursing. She currently works as a pediatric nurse at Sanford Children’s Hospital full time. She is excited to be able to teach again and work with younger dancers to help them improve their technique, flexibility, strength, style, and passion for dance.
